The Phantom boys -- Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena were invited to a high profile bash recently. However, only Madhu turned up. What made the other three skip the do? SpotboyE.com gets you the inside story...
Last weekend,
Reliance Entertainment hosted a party and invited 200 guests, which included
employees, investors and a few important delegates.
Phantom boys –
Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena – who are
now an integral part of Reliance were on the guest list too. However, on the
day only Madhu made an appearance.
Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl And Madhu Mantena
Why did
Vikramaditya, Anurag and Vikas not make their presence felt? Well, SpotboyE.com
has it that the three didn’t want their awkward equation to become the fodder
for gossip.
At that point,
Anurag was in Kashmir shooting with Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan for
Manmarziyan, but Vikram and Vikas were in town. While Anurag’s case here can be
understood, the other two could have turned up for a few hours.
Evidently, Vikas
must have assumed that Vikram might come in, and vice versa. Eventually, the
situation ended up being ‘comedy of errors’
Vikas Bahl
To rewind, the bone
of contention is Vikas Bahl’s Alia Bhatt-Shahid Kapoor starrer Shaandaar’s
debacle where the director lost a lot of money. The situation became worse
after reports of the sex scandal broke out (Vikas had allegedly got up, close and
personal with a close friend of Anurag’s which led to a huge fight. Post that,
the latter demanded his exit from Phantom. In fact, the rift between Vikas and
Anurag started years ago, with creative differences over Bombay Velvet, After
that, the two have never seen eye to eye and had several heated exchanges over
many issues).
Shaandaar Poster
For some time
now, there are reports of them ending their professional relationship but the
members have still not made an official announcement. However, they are
undoubtedly not cohesive anymore. The latest example being this party.
